Terms of Service
Effective July 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the FlashSale platform operated by Mirjy Technologies Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
2. Platform Use
FlashSale provides a time-limited e-commerce booking and sales platform for registered Ghanaian businesses. Sellers must:
- Be a registered or operating business entity in Ghana.
- Provide accurate business information during registration.
- Only list lawful products and services for sale.
- Honor all completed orders placed during their active sale window.
3. Booking & Payments
Sellers reserve sale windows by paying a booking fee using one of our available pricing models. All booking fees are non-refundable once a sale window has been confirmed. Revenue from customer purchases is split and settled via Paystack subaccounts.
4. Commissions & Fees
Two pricing structures are available:
- Daily Rate: A flat fee per day of sale duration, billed upfront at the time of booking.
- Commission: A GHS 10 activation fee plus 5% of gross sales revenue after the sale ends.
FlashSale reserves the right to revise fee structures with reasonable advance notice to sellers.
5. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are solely responsible for product quality, delivery, customer support, and compliance with Ghanaian consumer protection laws. FlashSale acts as a technology facilitator and does not bear liability for seller-buyer disputes.
6. Prohibited Activities
- Listing counterfeit, illegal, or harmful goods.
- Manipulating sale timers or payment verifications.
- Creating false or misleading product listings.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer or exploit the platform.
7. Account Termination
FlashSale reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any seller account found to be in violation of these Terms of Service, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
8. Limitation of Liability
FlashSale and Mirjy Technologies Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this platform. Our maximum aggregate liability to any seller shall not exceed the total booking fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

Privacy Policy
Effective July 1, 2026
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data when you use FlashSale:
- Seller data: Name, business name, email address, phone number, and business logo.
- Buyer data: Name, email address, and phone number (collected during guest checkout only).
- Transaction data: Order details, payment reference codes, and sale metadata.
- Usage data: Page views, device type, and interaction logs for platform improvements.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your seller account and dashboard.
- To process bookings and verify payment transactions via Paystack.
- To send transactional emails related to bookings and orders.
- To improve the platform experience through anonymized usage analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations under Ghanaian law.
3. Payment Data
All payment processing is handled exclusively by Paystack. FlashSale does not store any full card numbers, CVV codes, or mobile money PIN data. Payment data is transmitted directly to Paystack via their secure, PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data only with:
- Paystack — for payment processing and subaccount settlements.
- Regulatory authorities — when legally required to comply with Ghanaian law enforcement.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers protected by SSL encryption, access controls, and regular security audits. We retain seller data for the duration of the account and up to 2 years after account closure for tax and compliance purposes.
6. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication (CSRF protection) and optional analytics cookies to understand platform usage. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings without affecting core platform functionality.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.

8. Children's Privacy
FlashSale is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated to registered sellers via email or a prominent in-dashboard notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
